Tyga may be getting a case of deja vu as he reportedly owes a landlord more than $186k over issues with a rented space.
The
rapper - who recently faced another lawsuit over more than $270,000
worth of jewellery he allegedly hadn't paid for - seems to be in trouble
again, this time with F&S Investment Properties.
According
to TMZ, Kylie Jenner's on/off beau has been accused of leaving the space
- which was rented for his Egypt Last Kings Clothing brand - in a bad
way, while he allegedly poured ink down the drain amongst other things.
It comes after jeweller Jason Arasheben has taken it further in a bid to collect the money after hiring the same legal team who got him to settle a $480,000 lawsuit earlier this month .
Attorney
Danny Abir told PEOPLE magazine that they plan to "question his source
of funds" as the rapper continues to give away gifts.
"In the meantime, Mr. Stevenson gives away cars, jewellery and cash,"
he said. "We will question his source of funds – 'Where's the money,
what are you spending it on, what are your assets, will you be able to
pay up for all of this?'"
Abir referred to his recent success and insisted their action will depend on how he responds to their remands to pay the money.
He added: "If he says, 'Okay, let's get the client paid,' we do it
quickly and, if not, we have to go through some of the same exact hoops
as we did [with Rezai].
"We are trying to resolve this privately,
without resorting to enforcement mechanisms. If that fails, we will
utilise all tools available to enforce our client's rights."
Tyga now faces a new $200,000 lawsuit over a watch and chain he purchased in 2013.
Despite
a court order, Tyga has yet to pay the sum, and bespoke jewellery
designer Jason Arasheben has reportedly had enough of waiting around.
After seeing Tyga settle his other debt, Jason - who's designed
pieces for numerous Hollywood stars - has reportedly hired a team of
lawyers, according to TMZ .
The
rapper recently faced jail after he continually failed to pay back
$480,000 back rent and damage for the mansion he previously rented.
He
allegedly owed developer Gholamreza Rezai $480,285.00 in damages for
his old rental property, which he vacated "sometime prior to" October
31, 2012.
Boris Treyzon, the landlord's attorney, said: "We served him at Fluxx
night club in San Diego on July 20th. He was performing on stage,
reaching out to the audience, and our processor decided to give him a
gift back."
According to the lawyer, Tyga - who had a warrant issued for his
arrest on last Tuesday after he failed to attend a court hearing on the
matter - understood the significance of the case when he received the
papers.
It's thought that Tyga splashing out on a $189,000
Mercedes-Maybach for girlfriend Kylie's 19th birthday turned out to be
the last straw for the developer.
Reports had suggested Kylie could have been forced to return the expensive gift if Tyga hadn't paid off the debt in full.
