At least 51 people were killed and over 94 injured when a child suicide bomber aged between 12 and 14 attacked a wedding party in the Turkish city of Gaziantep late on Saturday, August 20.

 

The attack was the deadliest in a series of bombings in Turkey this year. President Tayyip Erdogan described the attack as an attempt by Islamic State extremists to destabilize the country by exploiting ethnic and religious tensions.

A man who had to give police 24 hours' notice before he has sex with a new partner has lost his legal battle to have the restriction lifted.
But John O'Neill has been told the terms will be changed following a hearing at York Magistrates' Court today.
District Judge Adrian Lower said the terms of the order will be amended at a future hearing.
He said the condition that he gives the police 24 hours' notice before he starts sexual contact with a new partner was "frankly unpoliceable".

Man arrested for stealing two packs of condom in Abuja

An Abuja-based man Adamu Asaph was arraigned before a Grade One Area Court in the Federal Capital Territory for allegedly stealing two packs of condom valued at N3,000. According to the prosecutor, A. Z. Dalhatu, the condoms were property of Society for Public Health which were kept in the company’s custody.
