Schoolgirl among 276 kidnapped by Boko Haram found by Nigerian army wandering forest with baby

One of the abducted Chibok girls, Rakiya Abubakar, and her baby, were reportedly rescued near Sambisa Forest, by Nigerian troops of the 27 Brigade around Alagarno area near Ajigin in Damboa Local Government area, Borno state yesterday.

A military source has confirmed this development. This rescue comes three months after 21 of the abducted girls were also rescued close to Sambisa forest. Over 200 of the girls were abducted by Boko Haram members in April 2014 at their hostel in Borno state.
