Empires rise and empires fall, but one remains constantly on the up, and it’s all thanks to Kris Jenner.
Because
the momager, 60, wants to turn daughter Kim Kardashian’s recent armed
robbery into a feature-length show, and is about to start courting
Hollywood to see if it’s possible.
According to RadarOnline,
Kris, who has been looking after the Kardashian klan’s financial
interests since Kim’s sex tape was leaked in 2007, wants to exploit the
traumatic event and turn Kim’s heist into a multimillion-dollar business
opportunity
“She’s frantically assembling a movie concept to pitch to the
studios. She sees it as a glamorous thriller to rival The People v. OJ
Simpson: American Crime Story,” a source told the news site.
“She only wants to see A-list actors in starring roles. Kris is fantasising about Mila Kunis or Natalie Portman playing Kim.”
Presumably whoever ends up making this film will have to employ another actor just to play Kim’s butt.
But how likely is this to happen? According to the source, Kris is
“used to getting her own way” - but with Kim, 36, still staying out of
the spotlight following the attack in Paris on October 3, will she even
want to revisit the events so her mum can make money?
It comes as ratings for the family’s reality juggernaut Keeping Up With The Kardashians suffers a drop in ratings , with TV bosses scrabbling to find other shows to prop up E!’s figures.
It’s
not yet been confirmed whether or not Kim’s gunpoint robbery - and the
immediate aftermath - will be shown on Season 13 of the show, but
filming did cease immediately after the news broke to give her time to
recover.
