'It's my big flaw': Kim Kardashian says she's learned to live with psoriasis and doesn't try to cover it up any more

Kim Kardashian has opened up again about suffering from the skin disorder psoriasis.
The reality star, 35, gets unsightly red patches on her skin during flare ups and in particular on her right leg, that 'is the most visible.'
'I don't even really try to cover it that much anymore,' she wrote on her app KimKardashianWest.com Wednesday. 'Sometimes I just feel like it's my big flaw
and everyone knows about it, so why cover it?'

Kim was diagnosed with the condition in 2010 and inherited it from her mother Kris Jenner who also suffers from it.

There is no cure but, the mom of two tells her fans, she manages it through diet and by getting cortisone shots.
She also applies a cortisone cream every night before she goes to bed.

'Everyone with psoriasis has different symptoms; sometimes the rashes are itchy, sometimes they're flaky. Mine flares up from time to time for different reasons,' she explained.
'I'm always hoping for a cure, of course, but in the meantime, I'm learning to just accept it as part of who I am.'
The body confident star usually uses used a little concealer to tone down the redness of the dry itchy patches that appear during an outbreak of psoriasis.

Momager Kris started showing signs of the condition at 30, around the same age Kim was when she first started getting break outs.
Five years ago, she bravely showed how much she is affected by psoriasis by rolling up her jeans and baring her midriff on an episode of KUWTK.
She showed the big red blotches that ran up her legs and covered her arms and body.

And she's also spoken about how she always explains her condition to the team she works with when doing a photo shoot.
'I have psoriasis, there is nothing I can do about it so there is no reason why I should feel uncomfortable,' she explained.
'So to make myself feel better I lay out all my insecurities before we start a shoot in the hope that no one will be focused on that.
