On the spectrum of failed performances, it
looks like you get Lauryn Hill on one end (shows up centuries late) or
Lil Wayne (shows and then leaves. Weezy was booked to headline the High
Times Cannabis Concentrates Cup Show on Saturday. Fans packed the Nos
Events Center ready to hear their favourite Lil Wayne track live. And
they did, for about four songs and ten minutes. Then it was over. Just
like that.
Some fan footage shows that things were off to good start and everybody was having a good time.
Next
thing they knew, Weezy got pissed off by something offstage. At one
point, he turns to look off stage and says into the microphone, “Don't
you ever call me to do this s--t again.” As if that wasn’t clear enough,
he went on to say, "Don't you, ever, ever, ever, ask me to do this s--t
again."
After that, he rapped a few more bars and then he was done. Walked off, never to be seen again.
