"Watching the US election results come in, I couldn't help but think of my grandchildren" - Richard Branson


As the world tries to come to terms with the fact that Donald Trump has been elected as the President of the United States of America, founder of Virgin Group, Sir Richard Branson, took to his blog to share his thoughts on the historic election. The 66-year-old, who previously said he feels that Trump would be a disastrous president, after his 'bizarre' encounter with the business mogul, said:
"Watching the US election results come in, I couldn’t help but think of my grandchildren. As so many parents and grandparents must be thinking, what kind of world do we want our children to grow up into?What type of message does Trump’s victory send to young people about the behaviours, principles and attitude to others required to succeed in life?

Dog's head swells to three times its normal size after snake bite

Pet Helpers, Inc., of Fairmont shared photos on its Facebook page of a dog named Logar with a head swollen to thrice its normal size after a bite from a venomous snake. It took only one day for the brave dog to get back to its lively self after treatments at an animal hospital.
"Hard to believe the last picture in the group is really the same dog. For those that are not aware Logar came to us after suffering a snake bite. He is one lucky pup!" a Facebook post on the shelter's page said.

Hillary Clinton, who refused to speak to the media this morning following her loss to U.S president-elect, Donald Trump in the just concluded elections, revealed that she spoke to Trump and offered to work with him in his new government.
According to Hillary, who tried to hold back tears while making her concession speech, Americans must accept Donald Trump as the new president and being a presidential candidate has been one of the greatest honors of her life.

NBA star Steph Curry breaks NBA record, shoots thirteen 3-pointers in a single game

No Basketballer in NBA history has ever shot thirteen 3 pointers in a single game, but Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry on Monday night broke the record as his 13 three-pointers ensured Warriors defeated New Orleans Pelicans 116 - 106.


Curry shot 13-of-17 from beyond the arc to set a new NBA record for three-pointers in a game, claiming sole possession of a record he had previously shared with Kobe Bryant (12 three-pointers) and Donyell Marshall (12 three-pointers).
Steph Curry, a two time NBA MVP and one time NBA champion is regarded as one the greatest shooters in NBA history  

No, Madonna is not giving oral sex to Hillary Clinton voters today, as promised

It's another broken campaign promise.
Madonna has withdrawn from her pledge to provide some, er, satisfaction to Hillary voters, the latest disappointment in an election season full of them.
The singer had famously promised the oral sex last month — “And I am good,” she added, lest anyone question her gratification qualifications — but when a Hillary supporter, armed with a selfie of his ballot, showed up to claim the prize, he was greeted with derision.
 "Ha ha ha ha," laughed the security guard at her Madgesty's Upper East Side manse. "I didn’t get that information, sorry, man."

After months of speculations by the media, Prince Harry has finally confirmed his relationship with 35-year-old American actress, Meghan Markle, best known for her role as Rachael Zane on TV legal drama series, Suits.
