Baby with half a heart survives after mum defied doctors' advice over abortion

A baby beat the odds to survive even after doctors advised that it would be best to abort her because she was discovered to have just half a heart.
Lisa Ambler, 32, says she was repeatedly told to terminate her pregnancy after unborn daughter Lacey-Janet was discovered to have an issue with her heart. But Lisa, who has cysts on her ovaries which make it difficult to conceive, was determined to go ahead.

Jealous husband hacks the feet of his wife with machete in front of her kids because she cheated on him

A mother identified as Putu Careen had her feet hacked off with a machete in front of her two young children by her jealous husband who thought she was cheating.

She was mutilated in an alcohol-fuelled rage in a terrible act of violence in her native town Canggu, Bali in South East Asia.

Horrific photos show the huge weapon believed to have been used in the attack at her house, left behind in a blood-soaked courtyard.  Local police say the suspect 'regretted' his attack and drove the 33-year-old victim to hospital after inflicting the shocking injuries.

Bobrisky's birthday party

Self-acclaimed Nigerian male Barbie doll, Bobrisky threw a 26th birthday party for himself on Saturday, September 9th,

He had earlier announced that he was going to spend 15 million naira on the party starting with a dinner at Intercontinental hotel and ending with club appearance.

LIB crew were present at the dinner party and got exclusive photos from the event. 

The dinner which was scheduled to start by 8pm however started by 10pm when Bobrisky showed up in his first outfit. He spent five minutes taking photos and greeting his guests who were about 15 in number before returning to his hotel room to change into his second outfit. 

He took more photos before changing into his third outfit as he moved the party to the club.

Graphic photos: Civilian JTF members among victims of suicide bomb attacks in Maiduguri

Eleven persons were killed in multiple bomb explosions carried out by four female suicide bombers in Maiduguri, on Tuesday night. 

The first and second explosions occurred at about 9.45 p.m. at Mulaikalmari, some six kilometres away from Maiduguri. Eight persons, including the suicide bombers were killed in the attack.

Three persons were also killed and five others wounded in the third and fourth explosions, which occurred about 20 minutes later at Polo-Sabon Gari area.
