Photos: Man tortured to death for allegedly stealing a lady's phone in Adamawa


According to Hausa news platform, Rariya, some soldiers in Adamawa state allegedly beat the man pictured above, Umar Abdulaziz, to death, for allegedly stealing a phone. According to the report, a lady named Fatima had accused him of stealing her phone and in a bid to get the phone back, the soldiers tortured him. He died while he was being tortured.

Chapecoense centre back, Helio Neto, one of only six people who survived the Colombian plane crash which killed 71, was reading a Bible passage about 'being safe in the shadow of your wings' before the crash. The footballer’s bible was found at the scene of the crash by journalist Roberto Cabrini.

In a video footage Cabrini notices the Bible with a note inside saying it belongs to the defender.

Man reportedly collapsed and died during fight with his brother


According to Abia Facts Newspaper, two brothers were fighting yesterday when one collapsed and died. The man wearing a red t-shirt was reportedly beating his brother, when he collapsed. He's pictured lying lifeless on the ground.

Groom flashes gun when pastor officiating his wedding asked if anyone was unpleased with the union

Religious crisis: Use tithe money to buy arms for Christians in Kaduna state- Veteran journalist advises CAN


 This morning, veteran journalist and Chairman Board of Editorials of The Nation newspaper, Sam Omatseye, via his twitter handle, called on CAN to use money realized from tithe payments to buy arms for Christians in Kaduna state following repeated killings of Christians in several religious crisis in Southern Kaduna. Accoriddng to Omatseye, the arms would be for self defence. Many Nigerians found the advise unpatriotic and inciting.

Mother jealous of her son's dimple, pays £1,300 to drill holes into her cheeks (Photos)


Mother and beauty blogger, AJ Weir, 44, from Lutton in Lincolnshire who was desperate to have dimples, spent £1,300 to have holes cut in her cheeks.

Aj went under the knife in September despite warnings from her family friends, and had chunks of flesh cut out from inside of her cheeks and then stitched up in order to give her a dimple effect.

According to Aj, dimples are something she has wanted for a really long time and has watched her friends with dimples get their way because of their endearing facial features.
