Two Nigerian nationals were arrested in Bryanston, North of Johannesburg, by the South African Narcotics Enforcement Bureau (Hawks) on Thursday, November 24th.

The investigative team recovered and seized 7kg of Ephedrine and 2.5kg of Cocaine worth an estimated value of R2 million, and undisclosed amount of money.

The suspects, aged 42 and 44, appeared before the Randburg Magistrates Court on Friday, 25 November 2016 for dealing in drugs.

Donald Trump vows to deport 3 million illegal immigrants and build a wall on the Mexican border

In an interview on CBS's 60 Minutes program, President-elect Donald Trump said he will deport as many as three million undocumented immigrants and build a wall on the Mexican border after he takes office.

"What we are going to do is get the people that are criminal and have criminal records, gang members, drug dealers, where a lot of these people, probably two million, it could be even three million - we are getting them out of our country or we are going to incarcerate," Trump said in an excerpt released by CBS's 60 Minutes program.

Mairah Teli, a Muslim teacher at Dacula High School in Gwinnett County, the U.S. state of Georgia, received an anonymous note in her classroom, telling her that the headscarf isn't allowed anymore.

The note written in black ink, with word America at the end besides the drawing of an American flag, says that she should tie her headscarf around her neck and hang herself with it.

33-year-old Paul Nnamdi Obodo and his wife, Cynthia Obodo, 28 were arrested by Police at Maroko division, Lekki, Lagos and arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrates' Court for allegedly stabbing Moses Ayemi and his wife Jovita Ayemi with broken bottle 10 times.

The couple were stabbed for allegedly accusing the suspects of pouring urine on their doorstep at their Lekki Phase 1 house, were they all reside. The victims were rushed to the hospital for treatment.

The suspects were charged on a two-count charge of felony, to wit: inflicting injury occasioning bodily harm, offences punishable under sections 409 and 244 of the Criminal Laws of Lagos State, 2011. Police prosecutor, Sergeant T. O. Tubi said the complainants told the police that they warned the suspects not to pour urine on their doorstep but they failed to heed the warning.

The suspects pleaded not guilty to the charge in the open court and the magistrate, Mrs. O. M. Ajayi admitted them on bail in the sum of N50,000 each with two sureties each in like sum. Ajayi adjourned the case till 28 November, 2016.

House of Reps orders investigation into MMM activities in Nigeria
